In the 50es company HIKO invented the Original HIKO Calf Bucket, which was back then a sensation on the market .This invention enabled the calfs to drink without human supervising.Since then this product and all the others developed from it made much easier the entire feeding process of calfs, goats, lambs,etc.
HIKO was founded in 1936 by Georg Hinterkopf when he began trading with preservation containers for meat, sausages and vegetables.The entire range of products was continuously updated according to the demands of the customers and also new products were developed.
Since 1971 the company is ruled by Adolf Hinterkopf, the son of the founder. He adapted the company to the needs of the market and of the customers, further developed the product range and made the HIKO products worldwide known by selling them all over the world.
From the 1st of July 2008 the company moved it's headquarters from Ulm to Kempten ( Allgäu ), Bavaria and now the main focus of the company is to maintain and develop the entire range of feeding system products.
HIKO particpated with succes between 24th and 26th of April 2008, to the AgroFarm convention in Moscow.
